• Starting off as a Girl Chorister in Ripon Cathedral, classically trained Soprano, Sophie Hurst, graduated from the University of Chichester Conservatoire with a Bmus (hons) Vocal performance degree. Sophie has performed in places such as New Zealand, Dublin and London, having had the privilege to recently sing at Buckingham Palace as a soloist and for the King’s Trust Carol Concert, alongside celebrity guests.

  Sophie enjoys singing in the Comic Opera’s written by Gilbert and Sullivan and has played the Lead Soprano role in The Sorcerer at Buxton Opera House for The International G+S Festival and Chorus roles with Forbear Theatre at Hever Castle.

  She has also involved herself in many ensembles and choirs, for example singing Verdi’s Requiem and Daphnis and Chloe with the Rodolufus Choir/Philharmonia Voices/Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.

  Sophie has also sung for film, recording and composing vocals for an Emerging BAFTA composer.

• She has also musical directed a youth production at His Majesties Theatre as well as vocal coaching the next generation.
