Starting off as a Girl Chorister in Ripon Cathedral, Sophie graduated from the University of Chichester Conservatoire with a Bmus (hons) Vocal performance degree. Sophie has performed in places such as New Zealand, Dublin and London, having had the privilege to sing as a soloist for HRH Duchess of Edinburgh (known then, as Duchess of Wessex) at the Royal Guards Chapel.

Sophie has a great love for singing in the Comic Opera’s written by Gilbert and Sullivan and has played the Lead Soprano role in The Sorcerer at Buxton Opera House for The International G+S Festival.

She has also involved herself in many ensembles and choirs, for example singing Verdi’s Requiem and Daphnis and Chloe with the Rodolufus Choir/Philharmonia Voices/Philharmonia Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall.

As well as singing in a classical style, Sophie is also influenced by folk music, From Choral, Operetta, Folk and Theatre, Sophie has always had a passion for performing.
